Tullamore Amateur Dramatic Society has been involved in bringing drama to Tullamore for around 40 years. Before that Tullamore 'Runners' group was a well known and successful group of players in the town.

Productions down the years have included all aspects of drama, from one act to full plays and has included all genres from farce to serious drama.

Despite not having a permanent home our group has played to full houses in venues as varied as Charleville Castle, The Bridge House Hotel, Sacred Heart School, The Tullamore Court Hotel as well as many other small venues.

While not having a base is a difficulty, the enthusiasm of the group members has ensured that there has always been at least one production every year. We have been greatly assisted in this by the generosity of Hugh Lynch's Bar & Lounge who have always provided us with a venue for rehearsals, meetings and smaller productions. We really appreciate this support.

Like so many other groups in the Tullamore area we fully support the ongoing efforts to provide our County Town with a dedicated and fully functional Arts Centre.

TADS is a great home for anyone with and interest in drama, not just acting but all of the many varied aspects of putting on a show from production to sound & lighting, set design and building and the multitude of supporting roles required to make each production run smoothly. So if being involved in drama appeals to you why not take a look at our "Contact Us" page to see how you can "put a little drama in your life" by getting involved with T.A.D.S. New members are always welcome!
